- How to Play Klondike Solitaire. Solitaire is a game of patience that, as the name suggests, is played alone! The game's layout consists of three different parts: the 'Tableau' consists of 28 cards made up of 7 piles that increase in size. Each pile has the corresponding number of cards: the 1st pile has 1 card, the 2nd has 2, the third has 3.
- This card game is a bit different from the standard solitaire game. Freecell solitaire is a variation of solitaire that includes spaces to hold cards, or 'free cells.' The free cells in the upper left act as a maneuvering space. You can use the free cells strategically to transfer all cards from the tableau to the foundation slots.
In this game you must move all the cards to the foundation piles at the top. Each foundation pile must start with an Ace and the other cards are placed in ascending order on the appropriate matching suit.
