In addition we use other services, such as Adsense that are using your data for their own needs. Oct 22, 2018 Just like the outdoor game of golf, the card game known as Golf has a goal of keeping the score as low as possible. The game requires two decks of cards and at least two players, but the more players the more fun the game. You pick a dealer and the dealer deals nine cards to each player. The cards remain in a face-down position. This card game of Golf is best for kids 8 years old and older. You’ll need 1 standard deck of playing cards for 2 to 3 players. You’ll need 2 decks for 4 or more players. Make sure that you include the joker cards. They are VERY important to the game! Golf Solitaire The goal of Golf Solitaire is to clear all of the cards from the rows. The tableau in Golf Solitaire consists of 35 cards, dealt in seven rows facing up. Each row contains five cards, with the top card highlighted and in play.

1. Clubhouse Golf is a fast playing, fun, and colorful round of golf for 2 to 8 players. It is easy to learn, easy to play and you don’t have to be a golfer to have a great time. Like the real game of golf, in Clubhouse Golf you win by having the lowest score.
2. The Golf card game is an easy game to play, but there is some strategy involved. When the cards are dealt, examine the tableau to play the best card on the foundation pile. For instance, if there are two cards on the bottom row that will play with the face-up foundation card, then pick the one that will free the next card in sequence.

Summary Version

This is my personal attempt to tell you what we collect in short form. The bottom line is we leave some cookies and local data on your machine in order to do things like track scores and game progress. At times we store some game related data on servers in order to provide save that data for later use. An example of this is when we had a “create your own layout” option for our Mahjong game. The layouts were saved to a server along with a description and title you provided. We use services from other organizations to build our web stack, and these organizations have access to your data as you use our website and have their own Privacy Policies that you should also look into for a full understanding.

We are currently working to remove all social tags (e.g. facebook like buttons) from our web sites. Until that process is complete pages that still have social tags will allow those social networks to track you on our websites.

We use Amazon Web Services and GoDaddy to host our web servers, giving them access to our log data.

We use Google to provide our Advertising through Google Adsense, and on some websites we are using Google Analytics for usage analysis.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you give us. In some games and services you provide us with information concerning the game. An example of this is our “build your own layout” tool. This information is stored in a database so that others can play the layout you created.

Information we get from your use of our services. We use Amazon Web Services and GoDaddy to host our web servers. Those services provide us access to quite a bit of data. We use that data to try and provide better service.

Device information

We've used information related to screen size, and browser type to provide a better experince for users with different screen sizes.

Log information

BattleLine Games does not host it's own web servers. We use Amazon Web Services and GoDaddy to provide us with web servers, and those services are logging information that includes:

• Internet protocol address

  device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL.

• Cookies for terms of use

  cookies that identify if you have agreed to our terms of service and privacy policy.

• Local storage

  We collect information locally required for the games and apps you are playing. This data includes information like high scores, best times, game coins accumulated and other information used to improve experience.

• Cookies for game related data

  Some of our older games use cookies instead of local storage for storing game related data.

Personal Information

We do not currently collect personal information. Log data collected by our web hosting providers (Amazon and GoDaddy) could potentially be used to personally identify you. Unfortunately we do not control the use of that information. It is also possible information collected by Google for placing ads and analyitics could be used to personally identify you. You will need to consult the privacy policies of our vendors (links provided at top of page) to understand how they manage your data.

How we use information we collect

BattleLine Games llc., does not collect sensitive information such as race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. We collect information related to apps and games that we use to improve the game experience. This information includes score and game play related information. Some of our vendors such as Google, Amazon, and GoDaddy collect your information while you are using our games. Google has provided it's own privacy policy that you should consult to understand the data they collect and use. Amazon and GoDaddy has access to server based log data which may include information such as user location information and IP Address.

Information sharing

Most of the information we collect is stored locally on your machine and is not aggregated or shared. You can configure your browser to block cookies to prevent the storing of this data, but it will have an effect on your user experience. Information collected to create personalized versions of your game is typically shared publicly, such as when you create a personalized version of our word search game. That word search is made public on the Internet to anyone who would like to play. Information collected by our vendors, Google for Ads and Analytics, Amazon and GoDaddy for web hosting may be shared by those companies with other vendors based on their own privacy policies.

Social Tags

We are currently in the process of removing all social tags (e.g. facebook like buttons) from our websites. Some pages may contain social tags that have not been removed yet. These social tags allow companies like facebook to track your progress through our site. For many reasons we have decided to remove these tags from our web pages. During this process, you may encounter social tags on some of our web pages.

This privacy policy applies to all web sites owned by BattleLine Games LLC, and embed Limited. These web sites will share a link to this privacy policy on the home page.

Golf is an interesting card game and Golf card game rules can be pretty complex. The problem is that there is a lot of ways you can play it; it has many different variations. You can play with either a single pack or a double pack, and with varying amounts of initial down cards.

Either way, here I’ll present you with what I consider to be the most common rules and some ideas on how you can spice them up a bit.

General

The golf card game is played with a standard deck of fifty-two playing cards (the use of the jokers is optional) and anywhere from two to twelve players. For higher numbers of players, or if you want to start with more cards, you should add additional decks. A good general guideline is that for two to four players you can get away with using just one deck, but if you want to have five or more you should use two decks otherwise you might run out of cards.

The Deal

Each player is dealt four, six or eight initial cards (you decide what kind of a game you want to play). Each player’s cards are spread in front of him like this (depending on how many cards you used):

Players are not allowed to look at their cards. The rest of the deck is put in the center of the table and the top card is turned over; this is the first card of the discard pile.

Goal of the Game

The point of the game is to score as little as possible. The whole game usually consists from nine or eighteen rounds. In order to limit your score you want to either trade away high value cards, or make pairs. Having a pair negates the normal point value of the card.

Gameplay

Before the play starts players can look at two of their down cards (in alternative golf card game rules each player can turn two cards face up, it’s up to you), after this they are not allowed to look anymore.

Now the first player, starting with the player on the dealers left, can either draw a card from the discard pile or the stock pile or knock…

• …if the player picks a card from the discard pile, then he has to replace one of his cards with that card(if you are playing the face up version, then he has to put the new card face up in place of the old card). Picking up a card from the discard pile and then returning that same card to the discard pile is prohibited.
• …if the player picks a card from the stock pile, he can either discard it right away or switch it for one of his cards. He’s not allowed to look at his card before he makes the switch, but he can look at the card he drew (if you are playing the face up version, then he has to put the new card face up in place of the old card).
• …if the player knocks, the game ends and players tally up their score(there is no knocking in the face up version).

Play continues clockwise like this until a player knocks, or in the face up version until one of the players has all his cards face up. When this happens the round is done and players score appropriate points.

In case the deck runs out, shuffle up the discard pile to make a new deck and leave the top card as the new discard pile.

Variants

There are a lot of different ways you can max up your usual game of golf if it has gone stale. You can change up the number of down cards, the number of decks that you use and you can mix up the scoring as well.

Four card vs six card :

In six card golf every player is dealt six cards face down. They then have the chance to rearrange their down cards and then choose two of their cards to be exposed. In four card golf the players do not expose any of their four down cards, and they only look at two. This element of uncertainty can make for an exciting game.

Nine card golf is another variant. In this game, dealt with two decks, each player lays out a three by three grid of down cards and chooses three to expose. Unlike four and six card golf, where pairs negate the point value of the cards, in nine card golf you need to get three of a kind in either a column, row or diagonal line. If you can get a four block of the same card this knocks twenty five points off your score and you will be well on the way to victory.

You can also mix up the scoring to keep things interesting. You can add penalty cards, like making the queen of spades worth forty points, or you can make one eyed jacks wild so that they automatically pair with the card next to them.

Another interesting idea is to turn jacks into miss-a-turns, so that any time one is discarded the next player in line has to skip their turn.

Scoring

At the end of each round players tally up their points according to the cards in front of them. The most common values are as follows:

• A = one point
• Deuce to Ten = face value
• Jacks and Queens = ten points
• Kings = zero points

You can also add some special scoring rules. Here are a few examples:

• If two cards form a pair in a row, their total value is zero.
• A pair of aces are minus two.
• A pair of jokers is minus four.
• If you are playing with jokers, they can be wild cards, they can have a negative point value or both.
• You can add minus ten bonus points for the knocker, if he had the lowest score. At the same time you can add ten penalty points, if he had the highest score.
• You can change how many points jokers subtract for your score. So jokers can have any negative value, you can make them worth minus one, minus two, minus three etc.
• Enable the option of shooting the moon. If someone gets the maximum amount of points, then they actually end up getting nothing and everyone else gets the maximum amount of points. This adds a new element of strategy because when someone is actively trying to shoot the moon you want to try to prevent them from getting points.

You can play around a lot with golf card game rules. You can make different rules on when players can look at cards, what scores what etc. Play around with it a little and see what you like and what you don’t like, but most of all, enjoy yourself while you play and have fun!
